I love Final Fantasy, So far, every thread in this section is related to Final Fantasy.
I haven't played any of them, but I like watching! I watched all the way though FFX, almost through FFVII, and I would like to do FVIII.
Anyway, what's YOUR favorite FF game?

Mine is definately (and obviously) FFX! I love the story line to death. The character(s) are hot and have very contrasting personalities. I got really really attached to all the characters (especially tidus)! And it made me cry. I love things that make me cry... okay, that sounds really weird. I love movies/games that can make me cry.

I think it is really easy to become attached to a FF character. FFVII is so far my favorite, and probably will forever be. I cried when Areis died. That was the first ever time I ever cried about something in a game

I haven't ever played ffVII. Just VIII and X and X2 and a little of CC. Wow, that's more than I thought. lol I LOVE Squall (ffVIII) to death, but he is kinda depressed all the time, but he is hot, so I can't complain. I hate the ending to FFVIII, though. Everyone dies. TOTALLY POINTLESS! It makes me mad. (another crying moment) I get too attached to people, that's my problem (in real life and in games/movies)

I don't know, I don't think I'll be as attached to Aries as I was with Tidus. (I think it is the whole gender issue! lol) but yea, I do need to play sometime.

It's heatbreaking though, seriously. I would've cried a ton more if I didn't have any idea she was going to die. Instead, Once we we're at the forgotten city, I just thought, "This is it, isn't it?"

You guys cheat! lol You find out what going to happen on the net before you even play the game! It ruins the experience. If I had known that Tidus was a dream and was going to disappear before I had played the game, I wouldn't have loved it so much. It was a twist I wasn't expecting. It was really really sad, but at least I didn't KNOW it was going to happen! just giving you guys a hard time! lol

HEY! Do you think everyone was going to keep quiet about Aeris dying? It's been on reviews on LOADS of TV shows and on Reviews ALL OVER the internet. I also have friends that have played it all the way through, and whenever we talk about it they always say something like "It's sad when Aeris dies," Or "I cried when Sephiroth killed her..." and stuff like that. Even if you want to play the game or you don't, it's pretty easy to find out about her death, even if you accidentaly stumbled across it.

hmmm... Well, me and my friends at school don't usually talk about nintendo games (the subject of boys takes up all our time! lol) That is probably why I don't cheat. They don't know what is going on because of the same thing, boys. It's typical in a group of ten girls... but that has nothing to do with Final Fantasy.
I have to admit it, though, I did cheat a little on FFVIII. My friend told me how it ended and I got really mad. After playing a game for so long to have something like that happen to your favorite/main character makes me really angry! That is why I didn't finish that game.

that isn't spoiling it. For all you know, it could end in Squall having a huge canqer sore in his mouth... dang, didn't mean to give it away. lol

I know... poor squall. You know what confuses me about Kingdom hearts (don't worry, this DOES have something to do with FF, don't think I am going completely off topic) Why does he go by Leon instead of Squall?

(KH CROSS OVER)
I think it was because he wasn't able to defend Hollow Bastion when the heartless attacked. When you talk to him at one point, he says "I will use my original name when this world is restorred." It explains when you read his profile in Jiminy's Journal
