Well I posted this a while ago so if some of the text is out of context, just remember that:
Koopa: Of course, you could choose different outfits in character selection whether you want regular koopa, paratroopa, lakitu shell, hamer brother, or perhaps a bowser style shell.
Koopa Smash Attacks:
Up A: Koopa pulls out a hammer bros. hammer and whacks the ground creating a shockwave hurting people up to 3 feet in radius.
Side A: Koopa does the flame shell attack from Paper Mario, lasts up to 10 feet in front of koopa.
Down A: Koopa Spins in place and spikes shoot out of his shell, not projectiles, but it looks like the blue shell in Mario Kart. Harms people in direct vicinity.
More Koopa moves:
A: Simple punch
A-A: punch to kick
A-A-A: punch to kick to shell whack
VVVV Not Smash Attacks VVVVV
Up A: Upper-cut
Side A: Long kick
Down A: Hide in shell defense
Jump and A: A jump to kick attack, very basic
Jump and Up A: Head butt
Jump and Down A: Arms and legs go inside shell, head sticks out far, looks like a bowling pin. Bombs an opponent underneath for a meteor smash.
Jump and forward face A: A turn around kick
Jump and Backwards facing A: Summersault to kick
R: Shield
R side: shell roll to escape
R down: Matrix style bend to escape projectile attacks
Jump and R: ballet style escape move, upon landing, plie.
Continuing on my evolution train of thought, I think I will do Koopa now!!!
At first you will be a normal green-shelled koopa but will transform (after 5 kills) into a red koopa, blue koopa (10 more kills), and than a black-shelled koopa (15 more kills). As last time only the B moves will be different with each evolution.
Red-Shelled Koopa: first evolution
Description: koopa with red shell and shoes
Moves:
vB= koopa goes in his shell and spins about while fire shoots out from both ends. It creates a ring of fire up to 3 feet in radius. damage amout: 10-15
^B= wings come out from shell and shoot's koopa upwards. Burns players in its path. Move similar to fox's ^B move. damage amount: 5-20 (depends on accuracy)
<>B= Koopa goes in shell again. Charges up and shoots koopa 10 feet forward, flaming players in its path. attack similar to koopers fire shell in Paper Mario. damage amount: (20-25 since it's an upgrade from regular <>B attack)
B= Shoot flaming hammer bros. style hammers out. Charge attack for extra distance and power. damage ammout No Charge: 5 for each hammer hit. Charged is 8.
Blue-Shelled Koopa: second evolution
Moves:
B= Throw an icey boomarang that freezes players in place for a few seconds. Charge up to make it more powerful and go farther, can go through opponents to reach others. Attack damage: 10+
^B= Same attack as Red shelled koopa only attack turns enemies to ice. Also go a little higher and smoke trail effect looks like cold fusion. Attack damage: 7-25 (depends on accuracy)
<>B= Koopa takes his shell out and rides it like a surf board, passing through enemies and soaking them in water. This effect will weigh the opponent down like the metal effect for a short time. Ride lasts for 10 feet away, fast paced. Attack damage: 5-8
vB= Koopa retreats in his shell. Keep holding down and B to charge a watery blast that hits a radius of 5 feet. Attack damage: 20(in radius)-30(ground zero)
Black-Shelled Koopa: third evolution
Moves:
B= Throw tiny bob-bombs at players, charge up for increased distance. Attack damage: 5(N/Chg)-10(charged) for each.
^B= Koopa places a bomb under his shell which explodes and rockets koopa upwards. Players in a radius of 3 feet get hurt. Damage count: 5-10
<>B= Koopa-shell placed in a mini-cannon which explodes the shell into people. Damage count: 15-20
vB= Koopa shell spins. Players in the way get hurt. At times the move will cause a sudden explosion which affects people much the same way as the bullet-bill in the peaches castle stage. Damage count: 10; 30 if explosion
Pardon me Kefoo007 but those modes are kinda lame. We can already put random characters to fight with (just take your chip and move it off screen and press b... I think...). If anything I'd want an inventive mode.
Perhaps a mode where everyone keeps on shrinking and growing based on how well you're fighting:
1. If you are fighting just one person you will shrink. Start attacking someone else and you grow.
2. Oh and it won't look like the mushroom grow and shrink it will be very fluid not ===> o O o O 0 <===if you understand that.
3. There will be other things that will determine growth and shrinkage, such as item using, fighting style, amount of kills(kill a guy and grow big fast!), etc.
Or how about a simple low gravity mode? You know something we have yet to experience.
Your multiman melee thing sounds interesting, maybe they could integrate that with some kind of contest to see who can kill the most wireframes(players will be on same team so no one hits another player by accident).
Hey you know what would be a cool mode? One where the more kills you make the more you EVOLVE!!! For instance lets say you're pichu. Kill 5 guys, turn into pikachu. Kill another 10, turn into Raichu, and so on until no more evolutions are available. Also attacks will become stronger and special attacks will be different in different forms.
Here's a few things for
Mario's evolution:
First Evolution: Fiery Mario
Description: Have white overalls and hat with a red shirt.
B= stronger and larger fireball
^B= same coin attack thing except red coins come out and deals a higher damage ratio. Also burns players.
>B= Take out a fiery cape and wave it 360 degrees.
vB= Same tornado spin except it's fiery looking and burns players that get in contact with it. The reaction is a mini explosion that sends players flying a short distance away.
Second evolution: Tanuki Mario
Description: Simple Mario with a tail and racoon ears.
B= stronger blue large fire ball
^B= same coin attack except blue coins come out and deals an even greater amount of damage. Freezes players sometimes when attack is flawless.
>B= Uses tail to turn people around. If done 5 times in succession, opponent will become dizzy for a short time and becomes vulnerable.
vB= Same spin attack but the color is crystal blue. Sucks opponents in and turns them to ice. players are frozen on the ground for 3 seconds.
That'd be cool! And you could kill the ghost with elemental attacks:
Mr. Freezie(ice), Bob-bomb or fireflower (fire), or maybe a new watergun weapon(FLUDD perhaps?) (water)
then the ko'er can gain the soul and become stronger until he ko's another player, in which the soul floats out and whithers away like pikmin. Perhaps the bonus points could be called ghost catcher. Either that or soul stealer.
Also the players ghost can get extra points for fighting after death. Maybe the bonus could be called ghastly geist or something of that nature.
Character: Shy Guy
Description: Red in color
Moves:
B= Slingshot: shoots small pebbles at players
vB= Shy guy ice skates: Twirl about and hurts those in the way. Rapid tap to propel upwards. (similar to Mario's tornado spin)
<>B= take out bubble blower and blow bubbles at players to send them into a bubble which floats for a while and then pops.
^B= Beanie cap with propeller shoots shy guy upwards for a triple jump. Hurts those in the way.
